Standsted has one terminal,designed by Foster Assopciates and features a "floating" roof, supported by
a space frame of inverted-pyramid roof trusses, creating the impression of a
stylised swan in flight.The terminal facilities include abureau de change,
left luggage service, several shops and restaurants,car hire and taxis and
internet access.The layout of the airport helps the passengersto arrive at
the short-stay car-park,move through the check-in hall on to the
departure gates allon the same level without any obstacle. |
