By Road : The most  direct motorway route towards London is M40 motorway and also it passes the city of Oxford. The other motorway is M6 motorway connects Birmingham to London (via the M1, therefore it is less direct) and the south, and the north-west of England and Scotland. The most famous motorway junction in the UK: Spaghetti Junction, it is also called Gravelly Hill Interchange ,Birmingham's most famous landmarks is Junction 6 of the M6.
     
By Bus/Coach : Bus is the public transport use in  the West Midlands because there are approximately 50 operators of registered local bus services in the West Midlands. Travel West Midlands is the largest bus operator in the area which accounts for over 80% of all journeys.It handles a large network based on a range of services radiating out of Birmingham City Centre (there are few Cross City services) and the Birmingham Outer Circle bus service.The longest urban bus service in Europe which chiefly follows the A4040 circular road. CentralConnect links Birmingham New Street, Snow Hill and Moor Street railway stations, as well as Digbeth Coach Station by free "Stationlink" bus service.

There is an important hub in  the National Express coach network for moved to Birmingham from London.This services from  its hub at coach station in Digbeth.Due to a breakdown in discussions between National Express and the City Council  replacement coach station next to Snow Hill Station were abandoned.Opposite the current site on a former car dealership the temporary station will be located. Birmingham also has a Megabus service to London. Many of services are cross-country services like to London and frequent services to the London airports, Manchester, Leeds, Nottingham, Leicester and Bristol among others operating from north to south operates by  NXL Shuttle service,there will be an interchange between these services.

Ryanair announced growth of Birmingham by increasing the number of flights to Dublin and starting a new route to Shannon on May the 31st 2007,
Pakistan International Airlines announced that they are improving their service to a Boeing 777 and cutting the service to 3 weekly,in early July 2007 and in 2008 the service will return to 5 weekly.
EasyJet announced that they would introduce services from Birmingham International Airport in July 2007, through daily flights to Geneva and two flights a week to Grenoble.
FlyWhoosh announced a new route to Newquay in Cornwall just after starting services to Dundee in July 2007. This has been postponed
Skyeurope announced a new service to Bratislava starting on October 30th. Air India announced that it was rising its frequency from 6 to 7 flights a week on the Amritsar-Delhi-Birmingham-Toronto service on August 16, 2007.
